Dr. Kamilah Dixon is an Assistant Professor of Ob-Gyn at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center where she serves as the Vice Chair of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for her department and the Medical Director of Moms2B which is a community-based pregnancy and postpartum education and support program to decrease the infant mortality rate. She is committed to ensuring that all have access to the very best care. She is a member of the Pregnancy Associated Mortality Review Committee, serves as a clinical advisor for the Ohio AIM Maternal Safety Hypertension project in the health equity committee and is a co-lead for the Compassionate, Respectful and Equitable care project funded through the Ohio Department of Health. She completed her undergraduate studies at Harvard University with a degree in Biology. She then went on to teach High School Biology with Teach for America in Washington, DC. She completed her medical training at Georgetown School of Medicine and her residency training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston where she served as administrative chief resident in her final year of training. She has also worked as a medical director of women's services at a FQHC in Richmond, Texas and an Assistant Professor of Ob-Gyn at University of Illinois in Peoria.
