Dr. Huang is a board-certified family physician, graduated from the University of Vermont College of Medicine and completed his residency in Social and Family Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center. He works at Unity Health Care, the largest FQHC system in DC, and recently became the Family Medicine Specialty Director. He is fluent in Spanish and American Sign Language (ASL) and to serve the Deaf community, he started Comprehensive Medical Care for Deaf Adults and Children (CODA Clinic) at Unity. As a faculty member of a teaching health center program - the National Family Medicine Residency, he leads the Community Orientated Primary Care (COPC) curriculum. Focusing his passion on nutrition education and healthy food access, he is part of the board of directors of Fresh Farm and a member of the DC Food Policy Council.
