David Street

Minister David Street is a native of Washington, D.C. who currently serves as the National Director of African American and Faith Engagement for Enroll America, the nation’s leading healthcare enrollment coalition.

Street received his Bachelors in Political Science from North Carolina A & T State University and holds a Masters in Theology from Wesley Theological Seminary.

Outside of his work with Enroll America, Street also serves as the part-time executive director for P.E.N. (Promote, Enrich and Nurture) DMV, a faith based non-profit that specializes in mentoring and STEM instruction for middle and high school youth living in Washington, D.C.

Street is an associate minister at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church located in the Northwest region of Washington, D.C. Among his honors and distinctions, Min. Street was appointed by D.C. mayor Muriel Bowser (D) to serve on the Commission on African American Affairs, which looks at ways to support the underserved African American communities living in the District of Columbia.

Min. Street is also 2015 New Leaders Council Fellow, a national non-profit who’s mission to to recruit, train and support progressive political entrepreneurs. Street was also a 2015 member of Radio One’s WKYS “Top 30 Under 30” for the DMV region and is a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc.
