The National Minority Quality Forum co-hosted the Kelly Klassic. It’s a basketball tournament that focuses on three components consisting of raising awareness on gun violence, back to school, and health disparities. With roughly 300 attendees comprised of kids, community activist, local stakeholders, law enforcement and elected officials. The event brought together the Chicagoland community, local stakeholders, gun safety advocates, first responders, and policymakers.
