Food Insecurity during COVID-19 Webinar
Food, water, and shelter are the commonly-known trio of basic necessities. Feeding America notes that over 37 million people (11.5%) - including 11 million children - were food insecure in 2018. After the COVID-19 pandemic began, that number increased to more than one in six adults and one in five parents living with children under 19 in May 2020.
On Friday, we'll speak with Congresswoman Fudge about how the federal government is assisting those in need, along with the CEO of Feeding America, Claire Babineaux-Fontenot, and Chef Nicholas Stefanelli.
