The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has taken unprecedented steps to counter entrenched barriers to equitable access to the health services research enterprise by both researchers and participants.

Dr. Karriem Watson, Chief Engagement Officer of NIH's All of Us Research Program, in a conversation with Gretchen Clark Wartman, Vice President for Policy and Program and Director of the Institute for Equity in Health Policy and Practice of NMQF, will discuss the different efforts taken and progress made since the All of Us

Research Program launched in May 2018 to ensure diversity--one of the core values of the program.

The discussion will include the steps the program will be taking going forward to reach this core value.
