Sara Mathew is a seasoned leader in healthcare management with over 10 years of experience in strategic planning, business development, hospital operations, and research administration. Through her transformational leadership style, she has launched multiple new ventures and led cross-functional teams that drive sustained growth, innovation, and profitability in the New York healthcare market.

She currently works as the Senior Practice Administrator for the American College of Surgeons (ACS) verified Level 1 Adult and Pediatric Trauma center and American Burn Association (ABA) verified Burn center at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medicine.

She believes that access to affordable and quality healthcare is a basic right of every human being, and her life goals align with the mission of Bridging Access to Care (BAC), a New York City based community behavioral health center treating under-served racial and ethnic minority communities on whose board she serves as a director overseeing the programs and finance committee since 2021.

She is an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and was inducted as the Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) in 2018. She received the ACHE Service award in 2020 followed by the ACHE Distinguished Service award in 2022 for excellence in healthcare leadership and mentoring future healthcare leaders from diverse backgrounds.

She has an undergraduate degree in engineering from the University of Mumbai and a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Minnesota, where she serves on the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion committee.
