Resident Physician, Psychiatry
Henry Ford Health

Growing up in The Bronx, NY, I am inspired to utilize my medical education and training in psychiatry to give back to vulnerable populations of which I represent. I am to reduce the stigma, mental healthcare disparities, and inequitable access to affordable, quality psychiatry care for marginalized populations in order to improve health outcomes for all populations. As a resident physician, I am dedicated to improving and promoting health equity within psychiatry care. My goal is to implement the development of optimized patient care, decreased stigma of mental health challenges, and break down the barriers to affordability to psychiatry services for youth while creating more equitable spaces within the psychiatry field. Having finished my bachelor’s degree at Lehman College, Intramural Research Fellowship at the NIH, and finishing my MD training at William Oakland Beaumont University coupled with my residency training in Psychiatry at Henry Ford Health System, I have had a myriad of educational, clinical, and research experiences that have allowed me to understand the importance of multi-faceted, interdisciplinary community-based psychiatric care to improve outcomes for under-represented populations.
