Dr. Tracy K. Paul is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in Weill Cornell Medicine’s Division of Cardiology. She practices general cardiology, critical care cardiology, and echocardiography. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, she serves as Assistant Director of the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, is a founding member of Weill Cornell’s Women’s Heart Program, and holds numerous roles in several diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the medical college and the New York metropolitan area. Dr. Paul’s clinical research interests are cardiovascular disease-related healthcare disparities in women and ethnic minorities, leading to publications and invitations to speak in both academic and community-based settings.

Dr. Paul was born and raised in Bronx, New York. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with the honor of distinction in the major from Yale University. She then earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Columbia University’s College of Physicians & Surgeons. She completed her Internal Medicine internship and residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center. She completed her Cardiovascular Diseases fellowship training at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medicine, where she focused on non-invasive imaging and cardiac critical care. She is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, Echocardiography and Nuclear Medicine.
