Swedish First Hill Family Medicine Residency Program
Dr. Kevin Wang is a family physician in Seattle, WA where he teaches residents and medical students at the Swedish Family Medicine – First Hill Residency Program. He is passionate about LGBTQ care, reproductive and gynecologic health in addition to improving the health of underserved and marginalized populations. Dr. Wang received his medical degree from Wayne State University’s School of Medicine in Detroit, MI and completed is family medicine residency training at Oakwood Annapolis Hospital in Wayne, MI. He went on to complete an obstetrics fellowship at Swedish Family Medicine – First Hill to gain c-section skills should his patients require an operative delivery. Dr. Wang also works at the University of Washington where he teaches the LGBTQ Health Disparities Course and is a co-director at the University of Washington’s LGBTQ Health Pathway, an area of concentration for UW medical students who want to focus on LGBTQ health. He is also an active member of his state’s Washington Academy of Family Physician where he is a membership committee co-chair and is part of the American Academy of Family Physicians Commission of Membership and Member Services. Dr. Wang is also fortunate to be a board member for Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest and the Hawaiian Islands and a board member of Seattle Pride.
